Bluffside Gardens' 11 rental units offer guests a respite from the hustle and bustle by offering a private garden retreat nestled in amongst the bluffs of Decorah Iowa.

Our weekday rentals are ideal for not only vacationers, but also business professionals who need a place to unwind after a hard day's work. If your business is getting multiple hotel rooms, our Maple series cabins will save money compared getting two rooms.

For weekenders, Decorah offers the best of what Iowa has to offer. Our smallest cabins are ideal for couples and small families, comfortably fitting 1 to 4 people, while our medium size units are great for families and small groups of 4 to 7 travelers. We currently have one unit with 4 bedrooms ideal for up to 11 people. Our weekends are full weekend only.

All of our units have at minimum a kitchenette with Oak series units having a full kitchen.

The gardens at Bluffside Gardens are an integral component of the overall stay experience.  

- Installation of the garden components began in spring 2023.

-2025 Garden plans include completion of the pond, three additional wildflower meadows and our first trails

- The wildflower meadow and planting areas in and around the rental units are first priority
